Permanent makeup is most often called permanent cosmetics, but also include various other names such as derma-pigmentation, micro-pigmentation, and cosmetic tattooing; permanent makeup is basically tattooing.
Permanent makeup is a specialized cosmetic beauty technique or process which requires the implanting of specially formulated permanent makeup pigments into the upper reticular layer of the dermis of the skin. The technique produces designs that create an illusion resembling makeup, such as eye lining, and other permanent enhancing colors to the skin of the face, eyelids, lips and areolas for the women that have had mastectomies.
